It *is* a temporary folder. If you look in the folder directory
when you're not in Yarn, you won't see it there.

But it's still the replies packet that is being edited when one
selects "Replies." When one selects "Replies," Yarn creates a
temporary subdirectory called Replies and unzips the current
replies packet into it (the replies packet is in compressed
form). Then Yarn accesses the unzipped file as if it were a
folder. When you exit Yarn, everything in the temporary replies
folder is zipped back into the replies packet, the folder is
erased, and the subdirectory is removed, leaving only the replies
packet.

But everything that goes into the replies packet is preserved so
you can access it again from the Replies folder when you run Yarn
(unless you delete it from the Replies folder while you're in
Yarn).
