Any info on WinYarn?

Hi all,

Forgive me if I'm asking really dumb questions but....

I've just set up Yarn, and have found it quite powerful, thought I miss
the niceties of the windows-based software. I know next to nothing about
yarn and other offline SOUP readers. I've been furiously reading
FAQs & have noticed a package called WinYarn located at
simtel:/win3/offline/winyrn71.zip.

I'm hoping this is a windows version of yarn, which would be
great. I've installed 2 SOUP packet based readers (Paperboy & UNOR)
& they dont come close to yarn in functionality. (I need all the
extra goodies like file attachments). I use WinPegMail at work & would
love to have something similar for my offline bbs access at home.

Not knowing what this winyrn71.zip file I'm turning to this list. I've
tried ftpmail to access it but I can never seem to login to simtel
because of overloading. So answers to any of the following questions
will gratefully appreciated.

1. What is winyarn? Is it any good?
2. Can you send me the file? (email me 1st I dont want to be mail bombed!)
3. Is there a windows package out there which does as good a job as yarn?
4. What is the best offline SOUP message based reader out there?

This next qtn might off topic, but...

5. I've been told by my bbs supplier/workmate (who is overseas for a yr)
that it may be possible to set up WinPMail for offline use by using waffle
PegWaf and a prayer. Anyone ever tried this?

Thanks

Will
