Npswps and Yarn - an excellent comination

Hi there. Some of you may remember my recent questions about cut and paste
between Yarn and other apps. I had some very useful suggestions, but have
stumbled across what I feel is the perfect solution.

I got hold of Npswps from Hobbes (/os2/wpsutil) which is a neat utility
allowing all sorts of configuration of the desktop. I use Spike, too,
again from Hobbes. Spike is set up as a template, and you drag off a Spike
file (call it memo, or whatever) and sit it on the desktop. Double-click
on Spike and whatever is in the Clipboard is pasted into Spike, which can
later be opened as a text file. Each pasting is separated by a line of
asterisks, so is easily identifiable.

Npswps has various settings for OS/2 command line apps, and allows copying
simply by clicking the LMB and dragging out to encompass what you want put
in the clipboard. When you release the LMB, the area is automatically
placed in the clipboard. All you have to do then is click on Spike and it
is pasted there. Npswps also gives a useful popup menu for text-mode apps
(copy, cut, file - to bring up the file open dialogue, etc..).

I hope this is useful to someone - it certainly adds to icing on the cake
to Yarn and makes it a very slick news and mail reader!
