That fact is there are been no response from Chin concerning updates
for almost a year (i.e., starting months after the last release).
If silence speaks volumes, I suspect the message is that he is not
interested in changing the situation, and is unlikely to become interested
-- whatever the ups and downs of his changing situation is. That is,
it has been a long, consistent silence.

This is why I get ``amused'' when every few months excited posts start
coming into the list about fixing bugs and upgrades -- as if people did
not yet realize these posts are folly.

Concerning releasing the source code, I dont really dont understand what
a programmer has to lose by releasing the source of a FREE binary program?
The only thing I can think of is they lose control over diverging versions
and updates. But if someone does not want to make updates, why would he
care?
