I discussed this with Derek on IRC (he's _Derek_ on #os/2).
The problem is, he wants to distribute Lynx/2 as shareware, but
Lynx 2.6 (no FM, it's official release[0]) contains GPL code.

[0] Ukans tried to coordinate its version with Foteos's, but at some
point they just gave up and simply copied the source.

DJ Delorie has ported Lynx 2.6 to DOS, using DJGPP. I understand this
is somewhat similar to emx, so in theory you should be able to download
her adapted sources (ftp://ftp.delorie.com/pub/lynx) and recompile
using EMX. Unfortunately, there are some defines that depend on DJGPP
which prevent it from compiling out of the box.
