Piping

I thought it might be interesting to share ideas about the things we
are doing with the piping function in Yarn (including some of the
programs we may have found).

I'll start ...

I periodically do searches on an on-line database to retrieve
references. I choose to have them e-mailed to me rather than get them
via screen capture, Kermit, etc. I then convert them to Bib-TeX format
(LaTeX compatible bibliography generating program) by piping the email
directly from Yarn to a Perl script. Upon leaving Yarn, I am ready to
cite!

Serge

P.S. Thank you Chin for your generosity and may you have a very happy
1997.
