Souper/Souper95 are unsubscribing automatically if they cannot select
a group successfully. There a at least two reasons for that:

a - the group no longer exists
b - the connection broke during transfer and run into a timeout.

To my opinion this behaviour is not too intelligent, if the user does
unattended Souper calls, because of case (b). VSoup does not do it
automatically, in fact in writes something like 'cannot select group
x.y.z, unsubscribe manually' into the status mail. It would be very
easy to change the behaviour of Souper/Souper95 in that direction.
