Not useful.  :-)  I hope you're joking above -- the reason I want to have
a real fullscreen text interface is because I tend to use OS/2 fullscreen
VIO sessions and Linux fullscreen consoles heavily when I'm in those two
operating systems respectively, and forcing me to PM (or X) means I might
as well use a GUI reader.  But I don't *want* that. 
Text apps in a window are nice, but the windowing should be optional.
Some of us actually prefer flipping between multiple fullscreen consoles
and using CLIPIT or gpm to cut-and-paste text.  It works very well...
