Not at all. I can't imagine for a moment how a simple, courteous
petition, carefully worded, could be misconstrued as a threat when the
fact is that there is *nothing* we could do which might threaten Chin in
any way. We are, in fact, fully dependent on his goodwill where the
future of Yarn is concerned, so I don't think there could be any implied
threat in a petition. To take it one step further, with what could we
threaten him with? Nothing. In any case, I believe most of us who're on
the list recognise Yarn as one of Chin's major contributions to the world
of newsreaders and are more than likely to be grateful that he decided to
make it freeware. With all this in mind, I don't think there can be any
question of ingratitude or threat from us.
