It has been a year (or more?) since we've last had a new release of Yarn. The current
version (0.92) has been doing a very good job, but IMO, there seems to be many places where Yarn
could be improved upon. Does anyone know if Chin is still supporting and would continue to develop
Yarn? I would really hate for Yarn to just fade away like so many other potentially promising software
(remember SOUP2SQ, TIMED, BLUEWAVE?) so if any should know what's going on "behind the
scene" please post to this list and share the news with us.
On a happier note, I am compiling a wish-list for Yarn and would appreciate it if other
users could send me their own wish-lists for the program. After a certain period of accumulation I
would post the compiled wish-list to this mailing-list with further updates at regular intervals. I am
calling on all Yarn users to take part in this exercise as a gesture of support for this excellent
newsreader as well as a sign that we believe Yarn could be better than it is now. (I know, I know.
Apologies for the rhetoric - I tend to get carried away. :-))
Thanks.
