If you get a lot of spam, think it's a good idea to have two email
addresses - one for spam, and one for normal email. It's especially
useful, if you post articles to Usenet, from where spammers get our
emails :-(

Then you can set up procmail or filter at your Unix account (if only
you use it :-), to delete all mail for spam account, that doesn't
contain exact "To:", "Cc:","In-Reply-To:" or "References:" header.

Then you don't have to waste time and money for downloading all that
junk mail.
