I have a program called de-digest mailing lists. It operates directly
on the SOUP packet before you import it. It will look through all
email in the SOUP packet and add a newsgroup to the SOUP packet
containing the articles from the newsgroup.

It could also search for digests in a Yarn folder or or a unix mail or
news folder if you already have them stored in that format.

It's available from my web page at
<http://www.mcs.net/~bobr/ftp-dir.html>, from my ftp directory at
<ftp://ftp.mcs.net/mcsnet.users/bobr/ddig07.zip>, or from simtel at
Simtel:/mailnews/ddig07.zip>.

There's only one format I've found that it has a problem on and I'll
be improving it to handle that.

Let me know if you have any questions,

bob
