Is anybody using TEE successfully with souper?

I tried several variations of the following;

souper -m -k 4096 | tee g:\getnews.log

The output seems to be buffered so that I don't seen anything on the
screen unless I hit Ctrl-C to stop souper, at which point everything is
displayed at once. The getnews.log is written correctly.

Any ideas?
